A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

This is a gallery that I created to house the images that i had on my desktop last year. I needed to get rid of the clutter, but there was something about the images as a collection that i wanted to preserve before they were scattered again to the digital winds.

I made a majority of this 1 year ago, put it away, and took it back out recently to wrap it up.

While it's definitely personal, I hope that something can reach through without any more context than what's given

takes about 20~ minutes to walk through the museum, longer if you're spending more time with the images

thank you~

this game made me feel so strange. Reading out of context screenshots of someone's life alongside pictures of fuck knows who just makes me wanna know more. all alongside this slowed down strange music giving it a kind of unsettling melancholic tone???? 10/10 experience loved it

Zium Gallery 2022 is one of my fave games of all time. I was curious about how you would create a museum experience. And yeah, this is great. Sound design is on point and kinda felt anxious, which match perfectly the really intimate vibe we have by seeing all these pictures, memes, conversations... Loved it

Hi this is Alex from NSLC, I would like to inform you that I am officially claiming the Museum of the Saved Image Dog% speedrun world record with a time of 30.60 seconds. Just so you know this is officially timed starting immediately after you press r to reset until you touch the image of the dog. Maybe with some more skips and optimizations we might be able to go sub 30 but this run is very optimized. Thanks for making the game :)

omg im so happy someone speedran this game <3  if you ever feel like making a video i would love to see it lol

thank you for playing :)

Hey, thanks for sharing! I really enjoyed that. Because your gallery was so curated and presented in a way you wanted, it didn't feel voyeuristic, more like an invitation. And when certain images jumped out as ones I might have saved ("who stole my body," "can't wait to be human again," etc.) , I felt camaraderie.  Great glitch work and use of space too.

Thank you so much !!! those images also made me feel some type of "camaraderie" when I found them, I'm glad that i could transfer the feeling to more people and also to know that it resonates with other people besides me. So glad you liked it!

I'm not one for virtual museums, or IRL museums for that matter, but I was quite engrossed by this one. It felt to me like a documentary piece about friendship and sadness and anime memes. Very cool, great job <3

and if i had to criticize something... please remove the headbob and footstep/jump sounds :p

ty!! I'm glad you enjoyed it and the emotional notes came through, I'm definitely interested in the idea of documentary games after this.

the bad head-bob was a choice, not one that I will defend vigorously though haha
